We know that sin can affect any person at any place and at any time. That is why God has allowed us to preach in many youth rallies, youth camps and Christian school chapels. With our experience in dealing with the troubled youth, we realize that memorizing God’s Word, being raised in church and saying that you’re a Christian does not exclude you from sin. This is part of our ministry we feel is very important. We do not want to see any more church kids lives ruined and wreck by sin.

Since 2000 I have had the privilege of working at the Chalkville Detention Center for girls, located in Trussville, Alabama. This facility is set up with approximately 100 beds, with an average of 96 students on a monthly basis. Girls held at this facility range in age from 9 – 21. They come from all different backgrounds, cultures and economic levels. God has enabled us since December of 2000 to preach the main chapel service every Sunday at 2:00. These services are very well attended. We have seen many girls come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and countless others getting their lives right with Him.

After working with the kids who have already messed up a part of their lives, I felt it necessary to try to reach them before they got to this point. In November of 2004, God opened a door for us to start a public school ministry. We met with the principal and received his blessing to start coming before school on a weekly basis. In January 2005, we began preaching and seeing God move in this school. We have seen God save several young people. We also have had 1 young man inquire about the call of God on his life to preach. The Lord has given us about 10 to 15 faithful kids that come every week. It is our hearts desire to see this ministry branch out to other schools.
